Memorial Day Style

Our Memorial Day plans were sort of shot with the weather forecast, BUT it didn’t stop us from having a good time.  My husband finally finished working on his race car, so we put the t-top down and went for a ride.

I love no makeup, hair on top of my head kind of days.  Target always comes through with the cutest outfits for holidays.  I got this easy little dress the other day, and it’s so comfy!  I will definitely use it this summer to throw on over bikinis, or just a casual hot day.  I’m wearing an XS, but I think Target’s clothes are cut a little large: Tie Front Dress

My Chuck Taylors have an elastic heel detail, which makes them much more feminine. Converse Chuck Taylors I love the summer dress/tennis shoes trend.  So effortless, but still put together.

We had ice cream and then headed to the movies where we had hot dogs and popcorn for dinner.  Life is about balance, folks.  Today I’m eating nothing but salads (probably not).

I got a nice little day date, and my hubby got to enjoy the the fruits of his labor by driving us around in his car. Support your significant other and their hobbies/interests!  Josh is my biggest fan in all areas of life, and I strive to be the same for him.  I keep thinking about Memorial Day and couples who are separated right now.  I got to ride around and hang out with Josh all day yesterday, but there are couples who don’t have that privilege.  Take advantage of every opportunity you get to love on and support your spouse. And finally, THANK YOU to all of those who serve or have served for our country.  What a beautiful sacrifice.
