Sunday Brunchin' Style - DeAndra Lynette

I’m not sure when brunch became the new happy hour, but it certainly has become a staple in my weekends. Brunch is a noun and a verb. A way of life. You go to brunch to brunch. I like to have my Sunday brunches after church, but oftentimes I show up too late for church (I’m late for most things in life). In those desperate times when I know I should’ve gotten up earlier for time with the Lord, and my husband is beyond annoyed (because he hates being late) I immediately say, “Let’s go brunch!!!”. That statement, my friends, makes all well in the world.
